In our neck of the woods, fall arrives after everyone else has finished with autumn and moved on to winter. Dan took this picture of our sycamore tree in the backyard as the leaves were beginning to turn. This was the end of November. You can see in the background that our ash trees are not even thinking about dropping their leaves yet.
Despite its late arrival, autumn is a beautiful time of year!
