On our last morning in DC, Dan took his final early morning walk.
These are a few of the sites he saw along the way.
After one last breakfast at the delicious breakfast buffet, we packed up and began the journey home. We took a taxi to Union Station. Isn't it beautiful inside?
Adam and I lost Dan for a while in Union Station. When we reunited, he had this bag in hand and a story to tell of a new favorite chocolate shop. We are always on the lookout for good chocolate. And this bag was full of yummy confectioneries.
We boarded our train for the airport. Once again - a plane, trains and automobile trip. That's a movie reference for those of you too young to have seen the movie.
At the airport we met up with the band. They were hard to miss in their red shirts. This is Brandon, Dayton and Bryce.
Adam found this vending machine which carried electronics. He needed some earphones for the trip home and found some in this handy machine. See his happy smile.
More band members. From the left: Bryce, Tori, Lindsey, Megan, Danny and Brandon.
Our plane going home was a brand new 737-800. It was outfitted with wifi, so Dan and Adam kept track of our flight all the way home.
Back in Arizona. It was a great trip to our nation's capital. Way to go Gilbert Tiger Pride! Now home to unpack and repack so we can fly out to Seattle in 36 hours!
