The focus was on scouting in early August as Adam became an official cub scout (this was the first formal pack meeting since he turned eight). He went decked out in his uniform and received a reward for having all the required elements of his uniform. As you can see from his smile, he is excited to start on the trail of scouting.
Dan wears a number of "hats" in our young men's organization. One of his responsibilities is putting together the courts of honor. He held one in August to award all the merit badges the troop earned at Camp Geronimo. Here is Bryce receiving his Star rank from his Scoutmaster, Rick Smithson. You can see our makeshift screen behind Bryce. We put together a DVD slide show of the pictures from camp. It has a lot of fun shots and helped relive their experience.
