On April 24th, we traveled over to California for Elliot's blessing. Jamie & Morgan were vacationing with Jamie's parents in Oceanside, so they took the opportunity to bless Elliot while they were all together and we joined them for the afternoon.
What a cute family. Elliot was tired from all the adventures he had been on during the vacation, so he was really wanting to go to sleep - not pose for pictures.
Michelle even got a chance to hold him. He was the most popular person in the room!
We stayed in Carlsbad. They have these famous flower fields which are all ranunculus bulbs. They don't cut the flowers, but they do thin the bulbs at the end of the season and harvest some to sell. This is a view of the American flag - all in flowers.
We also made a quick trip to the beach. Dan brought along one of his kites and took advantage of the steady breeze coming off the ocean. Bryce and Adam played in the sand and eventually waded in the water.
Even though they were only wading in the water, a sneaky wave caught them and pretty soon they were both wet and sandy (but happy nonetheless). Evidently Dan took all the pictures and we didn't get a shot of him - but he was there too!
It was a fast trip to California, but a great one.

What a beautiful little baby! It also looks like you all had a great little get away and were able to enjoy the beach a little while you were there too. Good for you guys! Oh and Bryce is looking more grown up all the time and he just keeps getting more handsome too!
