On the same night Adam was awarded his Bear rank, Bryce had his Eagle Board of Review. After a short gathering of all the Eagle candidates (there were 11 in all), we went with a board of three scout leaders for Bryce's review. Dan introduced Bryce to his board and told about how Bryce has grown through his scouting experience. Then we were invited to step outside and the board reviewed his Eagle application and project. Bryce went back in when they were ready and talked with the board about his project and his scouting experience. When Dan & Michelle were invited to join them, the board announced that next time an Eagle's nest was convened, it would be a little more crowded because Bryce would be joining the group - he was now officially an Eagle Scout!
On the same night two other boys from our troop had their board of review for Eagle. Here is Kacey Frey and Hayden Candland with Bryce before the reviews started.
A big thanks to Rick Smithson (Bryce's first scoutmaster) and Max Porter (Uncle Max) for coming down to sit on other boards. (Each candidate provides to scouting people to sit on the boards of other scouts). A lot of people helped Bryce reach this goal, and along the way Bryce has acquired skills, learned many things and had lots of fun. It has been a great experience for him.

That is so awesome! I'm so proud of you Bryce. You are such an awesome example to my boys and such an outstanding friend. Thank you so much and thank you also for your help you gave Blake with his Eagle Project.
