This was Bryce's last concert for 6th Grade Band at Sonoma Ranch Elementary School. He is the lone trombone. They played some fun pieces for the concert - including Mission Impossible during which they all wore sunglasses to add that spy element to the piece. The boys got extra credit points for wearing a tie. Bryce got several compliments on his pink tie (from Lindsay & Boyd's wedding).
During the concert the kids that were accepted to Honor Band were recognized by the band director, Mrs. Tongring. It was Mrs. Tongring who told us about the program and encouraged Bryce to try out for the Honor Band, or we wouldn't have known it was available. Now it's on to Jr. High Band. Bryce is looking forward to trying out for jazz band.

So does the band go on any trips? Band was all about Disneyland back in the day. I'm glad the pink tie is getting some good use!
