Academic Night

Bryce worked hard in his classes this year and for the first time was named a Gilbert Golden Scholar. We know it's old hat to some people, but we were thrilled with his achievement and attended Academic Night at Gilbert High to celebrate his good work.

After the awards program we headed for some celebratory ice cream. Bryce chose Dairy Queen since several of his friends were going there. As we waited in line, the power went out! Not only at Dairy Queen but in the entire neighborhood. We went to plan B and drove over to a new place at Dana Park Village called Ocean Blue. It was a great choice. Give it a try - you get to choose your own flavor of frozen yogurt and your own toppings, then you pay by weight. Yummy...
