Wilderness Challenge

In February, the Varsity Scouts attended the Wilderness Challenge put on by the District.  It was held in the desert south of Florence.  They had several events in which the Team could participate.  There was tomahawk throwing.

Team-building challenges.

Monkey bridge walking.

Geocaching.

More team building.  They had to get their whole team up and over this high wall (about 12 feet).

Here is Bryce at the top.

Ever try to walk on 2x4's while trying to coordinate all five people lifting the correct foot at the same time?  It takes teamwork.

Here is more tomahawk throwing.  This campout was in preparation for the Mountain Man Rendezvous in March.  Bryce had a blast.  Thanks Brother Hanks and Brother Sherwood!

It looks like it was a lot of fun and very much something Conner will love and enjoy. Unfortunately, this sort of thing isn't Blake's favorite thing and he also has been SO busy with his football stuff. I'm glad that Bryce had a good time!
