Halloween 2011

Yes - this is how behind I am with blogging.  All the way back to Halloween!  You can tell the boys are growing up.  For Halloween, Adam dressed as Dumbledore (Harry Potter) - but he only stayed in costume for a short time at the Ward Trunk or Treat party, and Bryce didn't even dress up - unless you consider he dressed like a teenager.

On Halloween we manned our door with Valdimir, our full-sized vampire, put out the fog machine and strobe light, Adam played scary music on his electric keyboard and we waited for the trick or treaters to come.

In the first 30 minutes I thought, "Oh, dear.  We are going to have so much candy left over."  Then 30 minutes later I thought, "Oh, dear!  We are going to run out of candy!"  Luckily we had enough for the evening with just the right amount left over to satisfy our chocolate cravings.

Halloween is a great time in our neighborhood with beautiful weather in the evening, everyone is out in the street with their kids, and it's fun to see all the cute and inventive costumes that come to the door.

It was fun!
