Adam and Michelle got to man the Band Boosters booth last Thursday for the home game against Skyline High School. Gilbert finally won!!! We had a great time selling beads (in the school colors of gold & black), raffle tickets, water bottles, etc. It was a pretty slow night because it was a Thursday game (Yom Kippur was on Friday), but it was a good opportunity to learn the ropes. Can you see that Adam spelled out Gilbert Tigers in beads? The gold beads spell out Gilbert so they are harder to see.
It was a hot night again, so the band only wore their bibs. Although on Saturday for an evaluation at Higley High they wore their full uniform and performed with the temperature at 113 degrees. Bryce will tell that story all his life. We are still trying to get a shot of Bryce all decked out. This week they play their entire show for the first time for the homecoming game. Maybe we will get a picture then.

I am so proud of Bryce! That is awesome! I hope that the Varsity team doesn't get bashed as bad as the JV team did last night. Maybe Basha wasn't such a good idea to play on homecoming night. Well we'll keep our fingers crossed. At any rate at least we have a great band playing! But I have to say that Conner has sure been sad Bryce is playing. It's really put a damper on his hanging out with Bryce:)
