It is hard to believe, but Adam is done with Cub Scouts. At the May Cub Pack Meeting, Adam received his Arrow of Light award and "crossed the bridge" from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. One of his new 11-year-old scout leaders, Wynn Caffall was there to greet him as he crossed the bridge. He is excited to start earning merit badges.
Isn't this a cool bridge? The cub scout leaders - John Hunt and Casey Johansen put it all together. The lights each signified an area of growth the boys achieved through scouting. They turned all the lights off, and turned on each bulb as they talked about a different thing that had been accomplished. Dan and I, along with his new scout leader stood at the other side of the bridge to greet him after crossing into boy scouts.
Thanks to all the cub scout leaders who have worked with Adam through his four years in cub scouts. You showed great patience and were consistent in providing good learning opportunities for Adam. Thanks!
