We started out the week with Bryce's holiday band concert on Monday night. He also volunteered to play a piano solo as prelude before the concert began. He spent an unusual amount of time at the keyboard preparing for his solo, and we are happy to report that he did a fine job playing "The Little Drummer Boy".
The band also sounded great - especially the trombone section! Bryce is second chair in the seventh grade band.
Bryce is enjoying band, although he doesn't like hauling his instrument back and forth to school. Thank goodness he doesn't play the tuba!
