On Friday night we took everyone to the Mesa Arizona Temple to see the Christmas Lights. This was the opening night. We got mixed up on the times, so we were very early and even got to see them turn the lights on for the first time - impressive!

Adam, however, was not happy to wait for the lights to come on. Here he is displaying his holiday cheer - or lack of it.

Michelle gave Adam a ride in her walker to help him regain his holiday cheer.

After the lights came on, we walked through some of the grounds. Dan figured out the settings on our camera and found we could take some great shots of people and the lights at the same time. Look how tall Bryce is getting next to Lindsay. Check out his braces too.

Aren't the lights amazing??

Look - Adam found his Christmas cheer!

What a cute couple!

When we got home, we had to have another slice of Lindsay's delicious pumpkin cheesecake. We also discovered Luna had managed to get the back door open. We found her sitting on Adam's blanket (a no-no) in the chair in the family room (another no-no) and had consumed five caramels and the remaining gingersnap cookies (a definite no-no). She looked repentant - but that look was probably just indigestion from all the sweets.
Go see the Temple lights - they are beautiful.

I'm glad Dad figured out the camera--these lights pictures are so great! We had such a good time at Thanksgiving. Thanks again for hosting. It will be one to remember!
