We plant tomato plants in our garden every year, and around Thanksgiving or Christmas a hard freeze comes and kills all the lingering summer garden plants. This year Dan covered everything for the few nights of freezing temperatures, and our tomato plants - and strawberry plants survived.

Check out our strawberry plot. We have quite a crop of tomatoes coming ripe, and our strawberry plants are putting on fruit! We will watch the weather closely for any more freezes - they have happened as late as Easter before - and hopefully have a headstart on our tomato and strawberry crop this year. This is a first for us!
