Snow Day

The youth from our ward traveled to Pinetop for a day of fun in the snow. Dan and Bryce made the trip. Several ward members have cabins there and were very generous (and brave) to house all the kids and leaders. On Friday they had a safe trip to Pinetop, pizza for dinner and a fireside. On Saturday morning after a delicious breakfast of biscuits and gravy (Bryce's favorite) they headed to a nearby cinder pit that is transformed in the winter to a great sledding venue. Here are a few shots of the outing.

Bryce sledding over the "bump" on the hill to get some air. This picture catches him just as he launches off the ramp.

The leaders each took a turn on the hill, but then enjoyed the sledding show and beauty of the day from the bottom of the hill.

Great Leaders: John Poulsen - our Young Men's president, and Jamie Candland - our Bishop. Below is a quick video of Bryce on one of the runs.

Oh it looks like they had so much fun! Conner and Blake were so disappointed that they couldn't go. Hopefully next year they'll get to join in on the fun!
